Miami Beach, FL (September 16, 2011) – The Palms Hotel & Spa, a premier Aveda luxury spa, is participating in this year’s Fall SpaWeek taking place October 10-16, 2011. In its 15^th installation, SpaWeek is a bi-annual event that offers innovative and wellness-focused services to consumers across North America for just $50 each.

Guests who visit The Palms Aveda Spa during SpaWeek will save an average of $70 per service. The Palms Spa features the following signature Aveda spa therapies for $50 (gratuity applies to the full, non-discounted service price):

Aveda Elemental Nature Massage – The Elemental Nature concept is grounded in the belief that everything, including the skin and body is composed of five elements: infinity, air, fire, water and earth. Many factors can shift your elemental nature out of balance, compromising your sense of well-being. After a detailed consultation, your therapist will perform a personalized massage focusing on your Elemental Nature and will utilize multiple massage styles including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Lymphatic Drainage, and Reflexology to re-establish balance. (50 min.)

Aveda Elemental Nature Facial – Upon consultation, your therapist will determine where your skin’s Elemental Nature imbalance lies. Customized product protocols and masque formulations will then be chosen specific to your individual concerns to promote better skin health. (50 min.)

Choice of Aveda Body Treatment – Select one of the following body treatments: Caribbean Nourishing Body Treatment, Skin Remedy Body Masque, Aqua Salt Glow Renewal, or Walnut Body Polish. Each body treatment will leave your mind and body renewed with the application of botanical ingredients, nurturing touch and the use of the HydroCapsule, a personal pod-like chamber with allows body treatment to be self contained for privacy and cleanliness. Each treatment also features a warm oil scalp massage. (50 min.)

SpaRitual Manicure & Pedicure – Hands and feet will be treated to a therapeutic experience leaving them relaxed and gorgeous. The Palms Aveda Spa utilizes SpaRitual Vegan Nail Lacquer created with Vegan ingredients from around the world, including many specially sourced and selected plant essences that are wildcrafted or organic. The formulations are naturally colored and free of synthetic dyes.
