The Piazza Around the Duomo in Florence Goes Pedestrian

Piazza Duomo gets rid of vehicles and their pollutants to make one of the most celebrated squares in the world pedestrian-only. The Mayor of Florence Matteo Renzi announced this  unexpected news in September and the city has been in ferment ever since.
