Since 1910, guests at Hotel Alexandra have been able to enjoy the view from their rooms overlooking the Town Hall Square in Copenhagen, but now the hotel will also be able to offer guestsrooms that give insight into Danish furniture design.
Hotel Alexandra did for some year ago opens its doors to a wholenew type of hotel room. Guests can book ”Retro design rooms” when they visit Copenhagen.
The hotel has furnished many rooms with Danish furniture design by a number of the leading Danish furniture designers and architects.

The first glimpse when you encounter Langelinie is the astonishing Little Mermaid statue. Standing at only 1.25 meters high and weighing around 175 kg, this marvel has been one of the symbols of Copenhagen since its unveiling on August 23, 1913. It was a present from the brewer Carl Jacobsen of the Carlsberg Breweries. It was made by a sculptor by the name of Edvard Erichsen. Every year it is celebrated in a special way and 75% of tourists who visit Copenhagen throughout the year visit the famous Little Mermaid.

Fiskebaren – a trendy fish restaurant at the distinctive Meat Packing District of Copenhagen. The menu is composed on a day to day basis, so that only the best fish will be on the menu.
The food was great, it was beautiful and tastefull, and there is a good chance to taste a fish, you may never have heard of before. The staff was very helpfull – so just ask, if you want to know more about the different fish on the menu.
