Exhibition: Botticelli at Frankfurt’s Städel Museum – November 31st 2009 / February 28th 2010

This is first exhibition on Sandro Botticelli to be held in a German-speaking area. From 31 November 2009 to 28 February 2010 the Städel Museum will host masterpieces of this great Renaissance master, thanks also to a contribution of the Italian National Tourism Agency and the Italian Cultural Institute of Frankfurt. The Hand of Uruguay

In Brava beach in Punta del Este, Uruguay, you can find one of the most famous landmarks of the country:  ‘The Hand’. Four pieces of metal come out of the sand resembling a hand inviting you to come to see it. This sculpture made out of steel and cement was created during a competition in 1982.
