The Bingham, one of London’s most tranquil destinations – a beautifully restored Georgian Townhouse overlooking the river Thames – are celebrating their 30th Birthday this year. 2014 is going to be a year of sensational celebrations and special events as they mark their third decade as one of London’s most stunning destinations.
Situated in the heart of Richmond, the Bingham offers panoramic views across the water from its garden and terrace and is an idyllic destination for all to escape from the hustle of city life. The Bingham’s Birthday celebrations are set to last all year long. The team is brimming with ideas and plans are already afoot for some truly exciting events that are sure to be a fantastic addition to everybody’s diaries.
On Friday 12th September, The Bingham will celebrate it’s 30th Anniversary with an exclusive Wine Dinner. Celebrating three decades with great food, great wine and great spirit!
Starting in 2014 with a New World Sauvignon/Chenin Blanc, they will then head back in time to 2004 with a Nuits St. Georges Blanc Les Terrasses du Ch. Gris, for 1994, there will be a tasting of St. Estephe Ch. Montrose Deuxieme Cru 91 Parker Points, before arriving at 1984 with Graham’s 30 year old Tawny Port and a Bas Armagnac Domaine de Joy. Each dish from the five-course menu will be perfectly matched. The evening will be hosted by the Bingham General Manager, Erick Kervaon. Price per person £115.
Market Dinner Offer – Monday to Friday. As part of the 30th birthday celebrations, the Bingham are also offering a superb three-course Market Dinner Menu created by their top Head Chef, Mark Jarvis for £25.00. Mark Jarvis joined the Bingham in Autumn 2013, having previously honed his skill at Michelin-starred Texture in Marylebone and at Raymond Blanc’s two Michelin-starred Le Manoir aux Quat-Saisons. His classic French grounding is strengthened by a passion for light, seasonal recipes, forming a natural progression towards consistently subtle yet beautifully crafted menus.
