Bruges on Foot. Hotel Navarra Puts on its Walking Boots and Takes You on a Tour!

Bruges Belgium

While Bruges is ‘big’ due to its many beautiful sights, the city is rather modest in actual size. This is why visitors love it: the entire city can be explored on foot!

A walking tour of the city is simply an unforgettable experience. What awaits you in Bruges is a visual feast of beautiful architecture and timeless vistas.

What is the best route through the city?

You can buy a city guide at the Tourist Information Office (inside the Concertgebouw – on the Zand Square), including three walking tours. If this is your first visit to Bruges, we advise you to pick the first tour, leading as it does along the most spectacular sights. The other tours involve an indepth exploration of other, most interesting city quarters, i.e. the ramparts, folkloristic Bruges…

Guided walking tours

A guided walking tour is an excellent way to discover all aspects of the city. You can choose the classical route, or you can beguided through unknown places while learning some juicy anecdotes. Toerisme Brugge only uses officially recognised guides who can guide visitors in different languages (English, Dutch, French). The tour lasts about 2 hours. Reservations can be made at the Tourist Office (IN & UIT, Concertgebouw, ‘t Zand).
