Rome: The Paintings of an Empire Exhibition

A fabulous exhbition at the Scuderie del Quirinale in Rome.  An overview of the pictorial ability of the Ancient Romans during the period that goes from the 2^nd Century B.C. to the 4^th Century A.D. There are approximately 100 works of art, frescos and paintings on linen , wood, glass etc., coming from the most prestigious institutions like the Louvre, the British Museum, the Vatican Museums and Pompeii.
